Union County Public Schools is offering free meals this summer for individuals aged 18 and under. Two meal options are available: traditional hot meals served from Monday to Friday, or seven days' worth of cold meals provided to-go on Fridays.
The traditional hot meals, known as SUN Meals, will be served at Morganfield Elementary School Cafeteria from Wednesday, May 28th to Friday, July 25th. Additionally, Union County High School will offer hot meals from Monday, June 2nd to Friday, June 20th.
For those unable to attend the daily meal sites or who prefer cold meals for the week, SUN Meals to Go are available. These can be picked up between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM on Fridays: May 30th and June 6th, 13th, and 20th.
Advance registration is required for SUN Meals to Go. Pick-up locations include Sturgis Elementary School at the bus drop-off area behind the school, Grace Fellowship Church with a refrigerated trailer in its parking lot, and Uniontown Elementary School at the parent drop-off area behind the school.
It is important to note that participants must choose either traditional hot congregate meals or cold non-congregate meals; both options cannot be selected simultaneously.
