The National Merit Scholarship Program has announced the advancement of certain Semifinalists to Finalist standing in its 2025 competition. This decision follows a selection process that began with the naming of 16,000 Semifinalists in September 2024. All students who have achieved Finalist status will be considered for National Merit Scholarship Awards later this year.
