A senior from Union County High School, Keelyn Gobin, has been awarded the QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship. This scholarship will provide Gobin with a full four-year financial package to attend the University of Chicago. The value of this scholarship exceeds $400,000.
QuestBridge's program aims to link high-achieving students with scholarships to 52 top colleges in the United States, including institutions like Columbia, Duke, Johns Hopkins, UChicago, and Yale. Out of over 25,500 applicants nationwide, only 2,627 students received this award.
The Match Scholarship offers comprehensive financial support covering tuition fees, housing and food costs, books and supplies expenses, as well as travel costs. Notably, it does not require loans or contributions from parents.
The QuestBridge initiative seeks to connect talented students with educational opportunities that lead to fulfilling careers and lives. "We’re so proud of Keelyn for being chosen for this life-changing experience," said a spokesperson for the program.
